Living room area has brand new carpeting and complete with HD satellite 900-plus channels! The custom bathroom (16'x10') is like no other. Completely hand made custom imported Italian-marble shower with overhead 8-inch "rain" shower head, custom 2-person romantic jacuzzi jet tub and ceilings 20-feet high! All high-quality pine tongue & groove wood walls! Bright and airy. Faucet is brushed-nickle/ Moen and anti-microbial. Flooring is beautiful hickory with plenty of hot water for everyone (40-gallon tank). The master bedroom (20'x12') is spacious, private and wonderful. Fully plush carpeted, the large rear window faces directly into the forest. Warm, quiet and just exactly what any traveler would dream of staying in. Very romantic. Brand-new Maytag washer and dryer too! In the main house area are a set of large Alaskan hand-made black spruce bunk beds. They are full-sized and the matresses are all brand new and snuggly! Hand-made over the Alaskan winter, they support the "feel" of the call of the wild and rugged wilderness that we strived for in the building of our masterpiece. We do not accept anymore than 4 guests in this unit. No exceptions. Master bedroom offers a new queen hand-made authentic log bed! Also, you are comforted by a large and private brand-new front deck that is 20'x8'! And on the deck are your chairs, outside table and a stainless-steel Kitchen Aid gas barbecue in the commons area to cook your food if desired. We supply the fuel. The facility is located just 150-feet from our private lake though the wonderful boardwalk system developed so if it rains, your shoes never have mud on them! The facility does not sit on the lake, it is up a boardwalk and is in a woods setting. However, to be clear it is about 150-feet from the lakeshore but the main house is between it and the lake. We ask that you DO NOT CLEAN FISH in our beautiful facility. We live in a bear area and take every precaution to insure the safety of our guests. Fish attract bears. Period. We have a strict NO SMOKING policy and all of our rooms have the scent of the great north natural woods we created over the years and years. We treasure our forests and we do supply butt cans with water to ensure our forests remain intact. There is also a "communal area" that you can sit and get acquainted with other guests if you so please. Outside activities are to be concluded by 10:00 pm due to the respect to the other guests who in many cases, have to get up at 4:30 am to meet their guides on the river at 5:00 am. We also incorporate CCTV security around the parking area and all boardwalks outside for your security. No cameras are in any facility, period.

This log home is situated on the bank of the world famous Kenai River; only 20 steps will get you from the front door to the private fishing dock. You can catch sockeye, king and silver salmon; even some rainbow trout. There is a fish cleaning station as well as a vacuum sealer and a large deep freezer for your catch of the day. The property is located approximately 2 ½ miles from Fred Meyer in downtown Soldotna. All amenities are included – linens, utensils, fully furnished living room, washer/dryer. The main house has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Upstairs' master bedroom has 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds and downstairs bedroom has 1 queen and 1 twin bed. Master bath has a jetted tub to relax in after those days spent on the river. It has a lounge, dining room and fully equipped gourmet kitchen. Cleaning of the house is provided for any extended stays. The only problem the property has is the guests must bring their own toothbrush and will not want to leave once they arrive.
